Samuel A. Gavish studied Engineering (Building Technology) and Interior Design in his home country of Israel where he graduated in 1968. He began working as a technical team leader for an architectural firm in Israel where the majority of projects consisted of new construction (ground-up) primarily for educational institutions. In 1976, Sam relocated to the United States where he earned a degree in architecture from Pratt Institute.

After graduation, Sam worked as a project architect at two large firms in New York City and Connecticut until 1984. He noticed a dire need in the marketplace for the protection of the owner’s interest throughout the entire design build process. With his knack for negotiation and detail driven high standards, Sam soon founded S.A. Gavish, Inc., (presently SAG Advisory LLC) a managing consulting firm acting as Owner’s Representative.

In addition to being a licensed architect both here and abroad, Sam also acquired a NY State real estate broker’s license in 1987. This has afforded him the participation in large commercial leasing and acquisition transactions. As part of those transactions, he has been advising investors, owners, developers, and attorneys on a multitude of issues concerning real estate and construction.

Sam is a frequent speaker at various conferences sponsored by professional organizations and industry associations. He has also appeared on T.V. Network News for NBC and Fox-5 as an expert commentator in connection with investigations of the NYC construction industry.

SAG Advisory LLC’s diversified projects throughout the decades have included commercial and residential properties ranging from educational facilities and financial institutions, publishing houses, law firms, general corporate offices, manufacturing and retail companies, luxury homes, and cooperatives with a combined budget of over $500,000,000.00.
